Cancel your subscription first
If you subscribe to Tiang Pro, deleting your account does not cancel it — the subscription belongs to your Google account, not to ours. Cancel it in Google Play → Subscriptions before you delete, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
The quick way: in the app
Open Tiang and go to Profile → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm, and then your account and everything synced to it are gone straight away. No email, no waiting.
The other way: by email
If you have lost access to the app, ask us instead.
- Write from the address you signed in to Tiang with. We can only act on a request we can tie to an account.
- Keep the subject line Tiang account deletion request.
- We verify it, delete the account and its data within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your account and the Google sign-in details we hold: name, email address and account ID, and your display name if you set one.
- Your saved sign-in session on our servers.
- Every project synced to your account — the geometry, the materials, the country and the map location you set for the simulations.
- Your simulation results, both the cached ones and any runs you saved for the Compare tab.
- Your undo history.
- Your monthly usage counts.
- Any projects you shared, and the invitations to them. People you invited lose access.
- Subscription and entitlement records held against your account, where there are any.
What stays on your phone
Your designs are saved on the phone as well as backed up. Deleting your account removes our copies, not the local ones. The same goes for any floor plan you scanned — those images never reached us in the first place, because scanning happens entirely on the device.
To clear the local copies too, delete the projects inside the app, or uninstall Tiang, or clear the app’s data in Android Settings → Apps → Tiang.
What we may keep
Only the minimum the law requires — for example tax or fraud-prevention records where a purchase was made. Those are held no longer than we have to and then deleted.
Tiang carries no advertising and no analytics, and we never sell or rent your data. We share it only with the services it takes to run the app — Google for sign-in, Google Play and RevenueCat for subscriptions, and the map and weather providers — and with anyone you personally invited to a project.
